The Ancient Greeks who first discovered that the Earth was round knew that it was impossible to present a detailed map of the Earth on a flat surface; however the development of geographic and cartographic sciences has altered the way in which we present the Earth. Before the age of the great explorers of the seas,
which began in the 15th century, our knowledge of distant lands, seas and shores was very limited.
Today more than ever we participate in economic, political and cultural events and for this reason there is a need to familiarize ourselves with what were recently hidden secrets and mysteries of the world.
The World Executive Map provides a unique combination of a political and geographical map decorated with vignettes and borders using the manners of ancient masters, evident through the emphasis on color and the incorporation of old fonts for the names of countries, cities, mountains, seas, rivers and oceans. All of the political and geographical information is completely accurate and in accordance with the current status of the world.
What distinguishes this map from all the rest is the raised relief map of the ocean and sea floors with names marking the most significant areas.
The map contains the North and South Pole, a compass with the complete names of the directions of the world, winds and ocean currents, time zones and country flags listed in alphabetical order.
The World Executive Map combines sophisticated cartography and a unique design to document our world as never before.

STOCK EXPLAINED: IN STOCK or SPECIAL ORDER?
If an item is marked as IN STOCK, then it is exactly that - In Stock and ready to ship.
If an item is marked as SPECIAL ORDER then this means please allow approx 3 extra days. Please rest assured that the item is available with our supplier and will be ordered-in that day.
If you choose NEXT DAY on a Special Order item, it will still get there the next day, as the supplier will send it to you directly.
If an item is Out of Stock, it will say so clearly. We can take a backorder via phone, and it'll dispatch as soon as stock arrives again.
Delivery Information
We dispatch stock lines on the same day if ordered by 2pm. Please see T&C for further details.
- We use 2nd Class Royal Mail (3-5 working days in most cases) or standard courier for larger items.
- You can upgrade to First Class (£2.95) for a faster delivery service (1-3 working days in most cases).
- Next Day (next working day) deliveries (£7.95, or £12.00 for Globes) must be ordered by 12pm.
- Courier deliveries are made on weekdays. Saturday deliveries can be arranged with an extra surcharge.
Delivery surcharges may apply to "Island & Highland" deliveries if the item is too large for Royal Mail.
We will always contact you in advance for confirmation.
Engraved items are posted once complete and are not always subject to same-day dispatch/next day delivery.
Oversized International Shipments
Some larger *international* shipments (like World Globes or Tents for example) may attract slightly higher shipping fees. If you are purchasing from abroad please email us in advance for a shipping quote.

Out of Stock (or only 1 unit left)?
If you see an item that you want, but it's out of stock (or there's only one unit left), please call us to order via phone. Your order will be automatically dispatched to you the moment we get replenishment stocks (we get deliveries daily).
