TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

DELIVERY INFORMATION

We dispatch stock lines on the same day if ordered by 2pm. If our warehouse pickers cannot locate an item in our warehouse (due on occasion to a booking-in error) we will order your item right away. For this reason, your order may be slightly delayed, or split and received in 2 parcels. Please allow some time before tracking.

- Free Standard Delivery applies to UK Mainland.
- We use 2nd Class Royal Mail (normally 2-3 working days) or standard courier for oversized items.
- You can upgrade to First Class (£1.95) for a faster delivery service (normally 1-2 working days).
- You can upgrade to RM Tracked (£3.95). It is tracked at various points and normally takes 24 hrs approx.
- Next Working Day deliveries £6.95 (or £12.95 on some Globes) must be ordered by 12pm.
- International Signed For can be added for your security. This will add an extra £4.99 to the postage fee.
- Courier deliveries are made on weekdays. Saturday deliveries can be arranged with an extra surcharge.
- If your order has been dispatched but not delivered please go to your local delivery office to collect.
- If courier has attempted delivery you will need to action the calling-card and arrange a redelivery.

Delivery surcharges may apply to "Island & Highland" deliveries if the item is too large for us to use Royal Mail. We will always contact you in advance to confirm.

If there is any problem with your delivery, please let us know within 24 hours of receiving your order.

OVERSIZED INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS  

Some larger / heavier international shipments (like World Globes or Tents for example) may attract slightly higher shipping fees, so if you are purchasing from abroad please email us in advance for a shipping quote.

Please also note that any International Payments that have not gone through the 3D Secure (Verified by Visa or Securecode by Mastercard) could be subject to further bank-checks and possible subsequent delays in dispatch. In addition, we cannot be held liable for customs charges or delays when goods are physically in transit.

STOCK EXPLAINED: IN STOCK or BACKORDER NOW: APPROX 7-10 DAYS

If an item is marked as IN STOCK, then it is exactly that - In Stock and ready to ship.

If an item is marked as BACKORDER NOW: APPROX 7-10 DAYS then please rest assured that the item is available with our supplier and we will order it on our next Purchase Order! If we do discover for any reason that the item is not available, we will email you to ask whether you are still happy to wait (and will try to provide an approx delivery date).

If you choose NEXT DAY on a backorder item, it will still get there the next day, as the supplier will send it to you directly.

If an item is OUT OF STOCK, it will say so clearly. We can take a backorder via phone, and it'll dispatch as soon as stock arrives again. Or you can click the "Email me when stock arrives" link. As soon as stock is booked back in, you will be notified.

Please note that we charge as soon as you hit Pay Now, as our systems are not set up to defer payment until dispatch.

365 DAY RETURNS POLICY!

We hope you will be highly satisfied with any product purchased on our website but if you wish to return an item to us then we aim to make it as quick and convenient as possible for you. You can do this for up to an entire year, as long as the product is exactly as it was when we shipped it. No damage to the product, unopened, packaging in absolute perfect and resaleable condition.

To arrange a return, please email us so we can email you returns instructions. The cost of a return from overseas that must be agreed in writing between the Sender and the Customer Services Dept. If item is found to be faulty or a warehouse misspick, we will reimburse to the value of the least-cost method available.

Once we have received the returned item we will initiate the refund, minus our actual postage costs (approx £2-3 in most cases. Globes and larger items may cost slightly more).

Socks, Underwear, Clearance Stock, Bulk-orders & Business-to-Business special orders cannot be returned. Engraved items cannot be returned or exchanged due to their personalisation. This clause does not apply to globes (as long as the engraved-plaque has not been afixed to the product).

Damaged deliveries must be reported on the day of the delivery.

AVAILABILITY & PARTIAL DISPATCH

We do our utmost to ensure availability of all stock lines and to dispatch your complete order within the timeframes stated. Occasionally our stock database could be incorrect by 1 or 2 units which means you could be able to make an online order with us. After 5 working days, and only when necessary, we will run off an automatic partial-dispatch for you. This means that if you have ordered multiple items they may arrive separately.

DISCONTINUED LINES

Occasionally we find ourselves having to withdraw an item because it has become discontinued. If this happens we can offer you an alternative if one is available, or a refund if there is no suitable alternative.

ENGRAVING CHANGES

All engraving details must be completed online as you pass through the checkout process. Any amendments must be made in writing, as we are not liable for errors. For example S sounds like F and so on via the phone.

PAYMENT & VAT

All prices are inclusive of UK VAT. If you are ordering from outside the VAT Zone, the total shown on the webpage should be correct due to your computers IP address - you can double check this when you proceed to the checkout and choose your country. All payments / refunds are made in GBP and will be converted accordingly by the banks on the day of the transaction.

Please note, we do not view or keep any card details and all information is encrypted for security purposes.

Payment is taken when you hit 'Pay Now'. If there is a small stock delay of any kind the payment will still be processed. If for any reason we cannot fulfil in good time, we will immediately refund the amount back onto your payment card. 

NO SALE OF KNIVES TO UNDER 18's

Any customer purchasing any bladed item from this website agrees they are over 18 years old. We do not sell to under 18's.

Throughout the website we use stock images and descriptions provided by the manufacturer. The manufacturer strives to ensure that the colours shown are as close to the real colours as possible. However, the exact colour may vary depending on a number of different factors, such as lighting and the quality of the photographs, your computer monitor and other factors beyond our control.

WEEE REGULATIONS

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law. The legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment.  The regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge. The amount of WEEE we throw away is increasing by around 5% each year, making it the fastest growing waste stream in the UK. Much of the UK's WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead and other toxins it contains can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health. Distributors of new Electric and Electronic Equipment (EEE) have a part to play in reducing the amount of WEEE going into landfill sites.

All Outdoor Ltd is obliged under these regulations to offer our customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when they buy a new Electrical or Electronic product from us.

For example, if a customer bought a new torch from us we would accept their old torch and prevent it going into a landfill site by disposing of it safely. Customers must return their WEEE item to us within 28 days of purchasing their new item. Under the WEEE Regulations, all new electrical goods should now be marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol, Goods are marked with this symbol to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so that they can be recycled.
