This simple, yet elegant base design, along with this 14" illuminated National Geographic globe, is the perfect addition to the home or office. With an overall height of 17 inches, this model features the unique dual map - political with the light off and physical with the light on.
This particular globe is made by National Geographic. It is a combination of 2 globes: a political and a physical globe (known as Dual Mapping).
With the light off the globe shows a wealth of highly accurate political information, with the light on the globe displays exquisite hand-drawn relief and beautifully-hued physical features of the earth.
Each globe is expertly printed on a special stretchable material which can never wear off.
Additionally, your globe is shock resistant and virtually unbreakable.
Each national geographic globe features a time dial at the north pole which allows you to determine time throughout the world.

STOCK EXPLAINED: IN STOCK or SPECIAL ORDER?
If an item is marked as IN STOCK, then it is exactly that - In Stock and ready to ship.
If an item is marked as SPECIAL ORDER then this means please allow approx 3 extra days. Please rest assured that the item is available with our supplier and will be ordered-in that day.
If you choose NEXT DAY on a Special Order item, it will still get there the next day, as the supplier will send it to you directly.
If an item is Out of Stock, it will say so clearly. We can take a backorder via phone, and it'll dispatch as soon as stock arrives again.
Delivery Information
We dispatch stock lines on the same day if ordered by 2pm. Please see T&C for further details.
- We use 2nd Class Royal Mail (3-5 working days in most cases) or standard courier for larger items.
- You can upgrade to First Class (£2.95) for a faster delivery service (1-3 working days in most cases).
- Next Day (next working day) deliveries (£7.95, or £12.00 for Globes) must be ordered by 12pm.
- Courier deliveries are made on weekdays. Saturday deliveries can be arranged with an extra surcharge.
Delivery surcharges may apply to "Island & Highland" deliveries if the item is too large for Royal Mail.
We will always contact you in advance for confirmation.
Engraved items are posted once complete and are not always subject to same-day dispatch/next day delivery.
Oversized International Shipments
Some larger *international* shipments (like World Globes or Tents for example) may attract slightly higher shipping fees. If you are purchasing from abroad please email us in advance for a shipping quote.

Out of Stock (or only 1 unit left)?
If you see an item that you want, but it's out of stock (or there's only one unit left), please call us to order via phone. Your order will be automatically dispatched to you the moment we get replenishment stocks (we get deliveries daily).
